Mastering the Art of Low Iodine Cooking Part 6: Beef Curry Review

I just sampled the Beef Curry I made last night.  I was a little disappointed in the flavor.  There was a good amount of heat, but the rich and varied flavors of curry were missing.  I think that the recipe does not call for enough curry powder. 

Then again, I am very happy with the beef and potatoes.  They were perfectly prepared.  The potatoes were not too soft or mushy, but the meat was buttery tender. 

I do plan on experimenting with more curry recipies (especially when my diet ends) but I will add more curry powder or ginger to try to heighten the other flavors.  I’ll also check out some recipies for curry in other books, so that I can get a better idea of how curry is prepared.
