Kohei Uchimora: Japan
The 3 time reigning men’s AA champion should win the AA title in London provided his arms and legs stay attached to his body. If his arms AND his legs fall off between now and then, he’ll probably lose. But if just his arms OR just his legs fall off, he should still be ok to win. He’s that good.
Even though it won’t really be suspenseful, it will still be a ton of fun to watch, because he makes it look so easy, when I’m sure it’s not. I don’t know as much about men’s gymnastics (not that I know a ton about women’s gymnastics) but I’m looking forward to learning.
BTW, if at all possible, find the BBC footage of the Olympics. Their commentators tell you the names of the skills the athletes are doing. It’s very useful, and vastly superior to the NBC commentators, in my opinion.
